The
way we see things...
Over
3,000 rivers, 100,000 glaciers and 39 of the world’s most significant
mountain ranges dominate Alaska’s landscape. We haven’t tried all
of them. But we can certainly say we know the best. Worldwide, we’re
known for creative itineraries that combine drama with decadence
and top-shelf customer service. Every year we continue to add to
our selection of personalized packages by exploring the state in
search of another good story just waiting to be told. Come join us.
Whatever
your interests are, Chugach Adventure Guides will show you the Alaska
most people never see. Heli-skiing, snowboarding, rafting, fishing,

Chugach
Adventure Guides (CAG) helicopter operation was founded as Chugach Powder
Guides (CPG) in 1997. Alaska was just becoming known on the world scene
as a recognized destination for backcountry ski terrain. While the
media grabbed onto the hard adventure hype
surrounding events
like
the World Extreme Skiing Championships, we knew the Chugach Range
wasn’t just for adrenaline junkies. Since then, CPG helicopters have
opened up the finest backcountry skiing and boarding in the world,
flying guests to adventures that are suitable for all skill levels. We
have cataloged over 500 runs and thousands of landings between the pioneering
of the Tordrillos and the Chugach. Today, this indescribable terrain and
our stellar reputation bring ski and snowboard enthusiasts from around
the world to experience mountain adventures that are exclusive to Alaska.
Our terrain and reputation
have bought the finest backcountry guides in North America to our door.
Being skiers first and foremost, CPG understands that id our clients come
all the way to Alaska, it is imperative that they ski or ride no matter
what. With this in mind, we developed our snowcat skiing terrain
for no-fly days and have fostered a cooperative relationship with Alyeska
Resort to assure that you ski or board no matter what, without compromising
our safety standards.
