 BRAD COSGROVE was born and raised in Idaho, and now lives year round in Bird Creek, Alaska with wife and dog. He’s spent his life skiing, running rivers and fishing, beginning his career working for outfitters at the age of 14. He started guiding on the river when he turned 18, and hasn’t looked back. Now, he is happiest in the Alaskan back-country and equally comfortable on skis or with a fly-rod in his hand. He has extensive avalanche safety training and regularly serves as an avalanche course instructor. He’s pursuing his AMGA Ski Mountaineering Guide Certification, and certified WFR for the past 12 years.
Brad is passionate about where he works and who he works with, and loves nothing more than welcoming people to the wilds of Alaska and teaching them something new.
