CPG is dedicated to providing guests with the finest skiing experiences in the world. As guides, we accept the responsibility entrusted upon us to make your ski vacation as safe and memorable as possible. 

We achieve this by setting a high standard for ourselves as an outfit and a guide staff. As an adventure company, we dedicate ourselves as much  to our guides as we do our guests, and value our guides participation and return from season to season. We also understand that our guests have many options when selecting a ski company. We believe that the most important element in a guide service is the guides themselves. Your safety and enjoyment in the field is our primary goal. You will not find a more dedicated and diverse group of career guides on staff anywhere in Alaska. We work hard at it! 

Our depth and understanding of snow and terrain will leave an impression on our guests. We hope this impression will be conveyed as respect for the mountains, the conditions, and the environment we are all privileged to work in. CPG employs guides with differing backgrounds that collectively make up a diverse team.  On staff, you will find guides with credentials ranging from UIAGM, AMGA and ACMG with focus on mechanized skiing and years as Heli guides. You will also find depth in emergency medical treatment with our paramedic guides and EMT/ WEC/WFR certified staff. Most of the guides have extensive avalanche control and rescue backgrounds developed with years of experience in ski patrolling and industrial avalanche application. Many of the guides have strong snow science experience with interests in research and better understanding of the dynamics in the snowpack. Collectively we develop a daily avalanche forecast and terrain selection and collectively we ski the backcountry with our eyes on each other and our guests. Guide Standards
CPG is a member of the US Heliski Association. This member run organization of heli ski operators ensures that you are doing business with the an outfit that employs the highest of industry standards with pilots, guides and contractors.
