LOCATION
The Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is tucked in between Mt.McKinley towering at 20,320 feet and two smoldering
volcanic peaks: Mt. Gerdine (11,258) and Mt. Torbert (11,413 feet). The surrounding terrain also sprawls out
across massive glaciers and towering peaks that go on and on and on. The entire Tordrillo complex sits on top of a
large granite batholith, surrounded by sedimentary deposits that result in fantastic hiking and glacial exploration.
Denali National Park, just 30 miles away, offers panoramic views of the largest peak in North America. In
a word—this place is humbling. Expect it to soon become known as one of the most remarkable adventure
locations in the world.
ACCOMODATIONS
The Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is on the banks of the Talachulitna River and Judd Lake. This cozy 5,600 square
foot log structure has all the typical modern creature comforts, as well as amenities that exceed the guest services

Our resident chef prepares regional Alaska cuisine that is hearty and decadent and pairs well with an extensive selection of award-winning wines from all over the world. At the end of
the day guests who are not outside enjoying the midnight sun can play games in our full service après adventure
bar, watch videos on the large flat screen TV or pamper themselves with a massage.

PACKAGES
KING HUNTER PACKAGE July 5 - 14
The “Tal” is known in Southcentral Alaska as a top producer of King salmon. Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is based
at the headwaters and is within easy striking distance of many other creeks and rivers. Our team of guides has
decades of angling experience they bring to this river from all over the world and are ready to fish from shore, by
raft, or kayak, depending on your preference and their recommendation.
$5,900 per person, plus guided activity fees
FLOATPLANE AND HELI COMBINATION PACKAGE July 5-14
These five-day packages combine the versatility of both helicopters and floatplane access. West Cook Inlet is
known for some of Alaska’s most accessible and productive Sockeye and Silver salmon fishing and the lodge is
perfectly positioned to take advantage of angling opportunities. Only minutes from the lodge, the river becomes
alive with returning salmon, resident rainbows and dollies that will eventually top out at 50,000 fish. Our heli
advantage gives us the flexibility to fly from hole to hole, which means we go places where the fish and wildlife far
outnumber us.
$7,500 person plus guided activity fees
Both of these 5-day packages include:
- Premier accommodations at the Tordrillo Mountain Lodge
- Round-trip float-plane transportation from Anchorage or Talkeetna
- 3 days heli lift and two days float plane access
- Meals (special dietary concerns upon request)

TALACHULITNA RIVER
The Tal is our front yard. From beginning to end, mile by mile, we know every bend and break in what we
consider to be one of the most special water runways in Alaska. The float combines spirited sections of whitewater
with deep runs and meandering sections that make it the classic freestone remote fishery in the Southcentral
region. Experienced guides and top-notch gear makes us uniquely qualified to deliver the river experience we
have been offering since 1993. This seven-day float begins with a floatplane flight from Anchorage to Tordrillo
Mountain Lodge. From this pristine location, we load the boats then drift through the first sections of classic tail
water, before reaching the mouth of the river and returning to Anchorage six days later. On the river, too, we never
overlook taking the extra step, including the satisfying river fare food and one-on-one customer service. Before
and after float lodge stays are also available.
$3,500 person plus guided activity fees
TALKEETNA WHITEWATER RUN
The Talkeetna River stands alone as one of Alaska’s premier wilderness whitewater trips. From high alpine to lush
rain forest, the Talkeetna works its way towards the confluence of the Susitna River. Along the way, look forward
to some of Alaska’s best white water, world-class fishing for all five species of salmon, wildlife viewing and a chance
to watch Alaska grizzlies feed on spawning salmon. Highlighting this four-day adventure is the descent through
Sluice Box Canyon, part of the 22 miles of Class IV whitewater that this gorge offers.
$1,850 person plus guided activity fees
For your convenience, Tordrillo Mountain Lodge offers these add-on services for an additional fee:
- Alaska sportfishing license, fishing tackle
- Alcoholic beverages
- Massage services
- Helicopter guided activities
