:: options for guided activities
Rafting- The surrounding creeks and the Talachulitna River offer scenic and whitewater rafting opportunities. Choose paddle-rafting on Class III rapids with friends, or meander down a slow brook while fishing from an inflatable kayak. All river access is via helicopter.

Fishing- Depending on your preference there are several fishing options. Our helicopter drops you and your guide off in secluded creek carved canyons with rafts or inflatable kayaks, allowing you to navigate the creeks at your own pace and fish the areas that prove to be red hot with a heli-pickup back to the lodge. Or utilize the chopper for the day and hop from hole-to-hole in search of the very best fishing action. Either way, the Talachulitna River drainage and other surrounding rivers are teeming with Sockeye Salmon, Coho Salmon, late King Salmon, Dolly Vardon and trophy sized Rainbow Trout. 30 inch rainbows are not uncommon in this area. When you’re not out in the helicopter, Rainbow, Char and five species of salmon are available out the front door of the Lodge!

Trophy rainbow trout fishing and heli-hiking are popular with our guests
