Snowcat Skiing Trees, Powder, Friends

Snowcat skiing is primarily reserved as a backup option for our Semi-Private package guests. We do our best to make snowcat backup available to Private Charters and Heli Day skiers when possible. Snowcat Standby seats become available when the weather is clear and the helicopters can fly.

Chugach Powder Guides has been refining the perfect Alaskan heli ski trip for over 25 years. We offer something for almost everyone, from the first time heli skier to the most experienced. All our trips start and end in Girdwood at Alyeska Resort. We have access to hundreds of thousands of acres of priority-use US Forest Service land near Girdwood, and have a lifetime of terrain to explore in the zones that surround it. Our prime season runs early February 1 – April 30, and locals and charter options begin in November and run into May.
