Know Before You Go
Grouping and Weights
We ski in groups of 4 guests and 1 guide. Many groups book in multiples of four clients. For individuals and groups of three or less, we do our best to match you with riders looking for a similar experience by using information from our reservation form. If we cannot find a proper group for you, we may not take your reservation. We don’t guarantee groupings, and all groupings can change as late as the morning of a fly day.
A primary limitation of helicopters is the weight they can carry. When stating your weight at the time of booking, please provide an accurate ‘heli-weight’ (weight with your boots, outerwear, helmet, gloves, and goggles but not skis). Upon arrival, all guests will be weighed in their ski gear. The maximum weight of a group of 4 is 840lbs, if the average weight of the guests in a group of 4 is more than 210 lbs, we will likely have to split the group and may not be able to take the booking. If a guest’s given weight at the time of booking is 250 lbs or more, they will be required to purchase an additional seat ahead of time (empty seats are sold at a discounted rate). Once weighed at our facility, if a guest’s heli-weight is 250 lbs. or more, and they did not buy an extra seat, is unlikely that we will be able to take them skiing. There will be no refunds in this case.
After tallying weights, we reserve the right to split groups to configure the total weights appropriately.
