Private Charter Details
A private charter is CPG’s premium offering. Focused on skiing and exploring the best terrain and conditions available throughout Southcentral Alaska, including our renowned Girdwood tenure. Aimed at providing the best chances to find great skiing and riding, this inclusive trip offers options including helicopter and airplane support, additional guide support, and photography. Together, we’ll prioritize specific mountain zones, skiing expectations, costs, and total trip duration for your group based on current conditions, group desires and logistics.
Please contact us for a pricing quote. We require a 3 day minimum booking for private charters, with 2 hours of flight time per day aggregated throughout the trip. Unless otherwise requested, we build quotes with airport transfer and lodging for all participants. For single-load privates, we require groupings that allow 2 guides. For two-load privates, we suggest groupings that allow 3 guides. This generally means 3 guests or fewer for a single-load and 7 guests or fewer for a two-load private. Charters can take up to 8 guests with 2 guides or up to 12 guests with 3 guides. We feel that the level of service desired by our clients is best achieved with a higher guide-to-client ratio.

WEATHER
The weather and snow conditions can differ greatly from zone to zone and between mountain ranges in Southcentral Alaska. Generally, temperatures are mild winter temps, as we are a maritime location. We usually see anywhere from single digits to mid-30’s (Fahrenheit) throughout our season. Temperatures can swing above and below that range but that is less common. With the private nature of this trip, it allows us to be flexible and adjust the itinerary based on weather and snow conditions at the time.
