Our first priority is to deliver a safe and compelling ski adventure to each of our guests that you'll remember fondly for the rest of your life.
Helicopter skiing and snowboarding is appropriate for participants with a wide variety of skill, experience, and fitness. It isn't appropriate for everyone, but our standards for participation vary based on the trip, group, and conditions.
We begin planning your helicopter ski trip for you well ahead of time, ensuring that each guest and each group are well-matched and compliment everyone's skills, energy, and expectations.
Our leadership and guide team spend hours each morning and each evening assessing the weather and snow conditions to ensure we're taking appropriate precautions for a great day in the mountains.
Each guest's adventure begins with a safety briefing in the comfort of the Hotel Alyeska followed by practical equipment training outside. We will supply safety equipment, including: airbag backpacks, beacons, harnesses, shovels, and probes. Guests may use their own equipment if preferred and approved by CPG's guide staff.
Our heli-skiing days usually begin at 9am with a pick-up from the Hotel Alyeska. We bring lunch, bottled water, snacks and extra safety gear and equipment. Lunch typically includes a selection of gourmet sandwiches (customized to any dietary needs), hot soup, dessert, and hot drinks. Our guests typically arrive back at the hotel between 4-7pm depending on the weather and where CPG flies in a particular day.
