CPG's premium offering is a private charter trip focused on skiing and exploring the best terrain and conditions available throughout Southcentral Alaska, including our renowned Girdwood tenure. Aimed at providing the best chances to find great skiing and riding, this inclusive trip offers options including helicopter and airplane support, additional guide support, and photography. Together, we'll prioritize specific mountain zones, skiing expectations, costs, and total trip duration for your group based on current conditions, group desires and logisitcs.
Girdwood Private Charter
Experience a sampling of the best that South Central AK has to offer in one ski safari beyond compare.
We'll begin and end in the Western Chugach in Girdwood at the Hotel Alyeska. From there, we can include one or all of the following: Pacific Coast Mountains (East overlooking the ocean), Northern Chugach, Talkeetnas (North of Palmer), Tordrillos (West of Cook Inlet) and other zones that we love to explore.
Weather
The weather and snow conditions can differ greatly from zone to zone and between mountain ranges discussed in this trip. Generally, temperatures are mild winter temps, as we are a maritime location. We usually see anywhere from single digits to mid-30's (Fahrenheit) throughout our season. Temperatures can swing above and below that range but that is less common. With the private nature of this trip, it allows us to be flexible and adjust the itinerary based on weather and snow conditions at the time.
